Autumn - Champlin, MN
Meet Autumn! She is a 1 yr old, 6 lb, female spayed cat.
Autumn is a beautiful girl who was born with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which is a heart condition. The vets at the University of MN had never seen it in a kitten so young. She was diagnosed on Dec 21st, 2018 when she was 4 months. The veterinarians said she would probably only live 6 months. However, she is now just over a year and doing very well.
She is on 5 medications a day and doesn't even act sick. We do know that though that she is not going to be able to be adopted and it does get hard on her having to adjust to new animals coming into foster care. She can be a little shy with new people and takes a couple days to adjust to new cats, but otherwise does well with them.
She was exposed to a small old quiet dog in her first foster home and did well. The biggest concern for her is to have minimal stress. She still loves to play. And while she doesn't like to be carried around, she will sit on your lap for as long as you let her. :) She is a beautiful sweet kitty who deserves nothing but the best loving home!
