Roxie and Max - Middlebury, CT
Look at this gorgeous pair! Meet Roxie and Max!! They are currently in a shelter and not doing well so we need to find them a foster or forever home!!
Max and Roxie are BCRA bonded brother and sister German Shepherd pair from North Carolina (now in CT). They are nothing short than amazing with ths loyal and loving shepherd temperament (who also like to talk to each other). They are yrs old and are spayed/neutered and up to date on all vaccines.
Max has a neurological issue involving slipped discs and is awaiting an MRI (which we are trying to raise funds for) to determine if he is a candidate for surgery, acupuncture or physical therapy. Roxie has been diagnosed with Perianal fistula which requires her to be on a special prescription diet and supplements and needs the access to outdoors a little more than a normal adult dog as she can't hold her bowels as well. She also has anxiety when Max is out of eyesight so we refuse to separate them!
They do need a home with no other pets with the possibility of another large dog upon meet and greet and a fenced in yard. They are amazing with children, housebroken, and even with their issues they love to play fetch and be in the yard. They have been here way to long and need to find their forever home to live out their lives together. You can watch videos of them on our Facebook page Brass City Rescue Alliance. If interested please fill out our application online at www.adoptapet.com/bcra/ and email or call for a meet and greet!
